I'm running the Limited 18" that came on the truck. I'm not an all black rim guy and until these get bent no reason to buy others.

Looks good. I have after market and I want to run that size. Trying to see what set ups work. Thanks.

Me too ! I have Bilstein 5100 on the way. I plan to set on top setting and match Fuel Vapor 18x9 -13 with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 265/70/18 (32.6" tall 10.7" wide) I hope the negative offset is enough to clear stock UCA I will post with an update once I land on a fit

I have a 2014 with 265/65-18 (31.6" tall) tires. I really want to step up to a 265/70-18 (32.6" tall). I am running stock UCAs and an ICON Stage-1 kit providing roughly 2" of lift. My wheels are OEM 18" with a +25mm offset. Unless there is a significant difference between the Gen-2 and Gen-3 setup, and based on what I'm reading on this and other threads, it seems like I should be okay without much if any trimming. My concern is I'm getting awfully close to a 33" diameter which I understand requires a CMC mod which I really don't want to mess with.

There are a lot of people on this site with knowledge and experience on this topic. I sure would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Thanks in advance

Found this thread late, but I am running 265/70R18 on my 19 sport (with an OME 2 inch lift with Dakar leaf springs). Tires are Ironman All Country A/T’s. Again bit late but I hope it helps

Nice! What wheels and specs? I’m almost ready to purchase tires.

I went with the Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts set on the top setting. I got a little over 2.5" lift in the front from that. I also put Fuel Vapor 18x9 -13mm wheels with Nitto Ridge Grappler 275/65/18 tires and I didn't have to trim anything for it.

Method Vex 311’s titanium 18x9 -12 offset. I believe they are no longer in this size but in 17x8.5

Thanks. I have 18x9+12 so a little concerned of UCA clearance.

Thank you @TacoCop  I appreciate it. Do you offroad much or is your driving mostly local roads and interstate? Did you have to do any any trimming or do you have any ongoing rubbing? You don't happen to know the offset of your wheels do you?

I think I'm just going to go for it. The 32.6" diameter is an inch larger than anything I've put on any of my Tacoma's but getting underneath and looking around it seems like it should be okay. Thanks again.

I should have looked at your other posts. I see your wheels have a -12 offset. That really is ideal. Compared to OE wheels like mine (which have a +30 offset) your offset pushes the wheel a little more than 1.5" out. I did that on my 07 Tacoma years ago and it really improved stability and handling. Good choices!

My guess is you will be close but I'm thinking you will be okay if you stick with 265 widths. You already are almost .750" further away from the UCA than the wheels I have now. My wheels are not as wide as yours. They are OE wheels though and have a +30 offset. With 265/65-18s on these OE wheels I had a half of an inch clearance to the UCA. That was with pretty much a factory alignment.

That makes sense. decided to try this out and post it here for future interest. With the 5.5BS of the 18x9+12 and a 265/65/18 BFG KO. Here are photos of the gap. I have over an 1” space from UCA to sidewall.
