image.jpg Hey guys, I'm finally putting some 33s on my truck so that means I've got a set of four tires I'll be trying to sell (I'm keeping the spare). They're a year old with 15k miles on them and almost all their tread left. I would prefer a local buyer; I live in the DC/Baltimore area. I'm looking to sell them for $200 ($50/tire) OBO. PM me if interested.

Where in the metro area are you located? I am in Frederick, MD and looking for a set of tires for my 02 reg cab.

Just south of Baltimore. I've got one offer already so I'll sell to the highest bidder.

Note that these are the Rugged Fails, not the Terrains as the misleading title says.

I used wheel paint, not plastidip. It was a quick job, could've been better.

Ah I see... I'm planning on doing painting mine black as well... is the wheel paint more durable then plastidip? May I ask what kind you used?

It's just your run of the mill wheel paint. I grabbed mine at Auto Zone. Since its paint, you really don't have the ability to remove it like you do with plastidip, so in that respect, it is more durable. But I've dipped my front emblem and side badges about six months ago and haven't had any problems. I wouldn't use it on my wheels though, which is why I went with paint. Just be sure to cover all sides of the wheels, otherwise you'll have an uneven finish. If you have the time, take the wheels off the truck and paint them is my suggestion.
