265/70r17 BFG KO2 MPG Impact?

    The trails I go on have a lot of rocks ruts water crossing etc. Almost always in 4lo. I've always gone in 33. But I've seen people do it in 32s even 31. But those with 31 had a really hard time. But just knowing how to approach makes a world of differences.

    What's your mpg like with the 265? And what size 265/70/17? I'm starting to think possibly going with the 265 since it's just under a 32 and see how it is

    I ran my truck with the stock wheels, no lift for 4,000 miles and best I could get was 18 mpg. I've run this set up for a little over 3,500 miles and I'm getting around 16.7-17mpg.

    Ride quality is really quite good. My road trip to NE Montana is 517 miles (one way) on pavement, then 5 days on dirt/mud/grass. Perfect tire for what I do.
