I would imagine that that the most popular two wheel an tires sizes for use with small suspension lifts is 265X75X16 (OR) and 265X70X17 (Sport). I wanted two inches in front and 1.5 in back and am at 3/2 and cannot get the front to drop, lol.

I was thinking the same, probably 90% are running 265X75X16 or 265X70X17.

These sizes are proportional to the truck, generally do not rub, provide enough tires for most on and off road, do not seriously effect MPG (as they are essentially stock size+) or shift points or towing ability.

And, I do not see the point in monster tires and wheels on a vehicle with half shafts not up to turning them.

Total stereo replacement, TRD Exhaust, Fox 2.0 coilovers, 2.0 reservoirs with an AAL in rear for about 2.5 inch lift, gunmetal TRD 4Runner wheels wrapped in K02
First pic with stock wheels are 265/75/16. Leveling spacers with AAL in rear. Second pic with 4Runner wheels are 265/70/17 with fox 2.0 coil overs for 2 inch lift in front and 2.5” in rear. Tires are almost exactly the same height.

3” front via 5100’s at 0 with Toytec threaded coilover bodies and Eibach springs. Freedom Off-road upper control arms. Rears use stock 2015 leafs with an s-10 Chevy leaf added then needed some pinion angle so I machined 3/4” spacers with the required 3° angle. 5100’s in rear too.

These are the cheap Vision wheels at Discount Tire (in my neck of the woods) $92 per wheel... it was all they had in stock, I needed tires but wanted steelies in the worst way. These were the only wheels they had in stock that would fit, didn’t know if I’d like them and BAM- they look awesome. Offset is great, I ditched my 1” spacers.

I think they look good too!
I have the stock Gulf States rims that are +30 I believe. When I get new rims I want to run somewhere between 0 and -25 to widen it up a smidge so I'm not quite as narrow. That'll give me 1"-2" (respectively) on either side.

I’ve got a set of 1” bolt on hub centric spacers if you want to push those out a little bit.

Here’s a pic of mine with 5100s/OME 885/Icon AAL with 265/75/16 (downsizing from 285s) on stock wheels with spidertrax. I’m 90% street. I think this is the perfect set up for my needs. I debated going with 285s again, but I don’t want to rub. I couldn’t be happier with this set up.

How much lift did the Icon AAL give you? What's your total lift?

I took it out, I think the back would be too high with it, unless you use longer coils up front, but I wanted to avoid replacing the UCAs

My suspension was completely roached. Leafs were flat and shocks were beyond blown.

I researched this topic for about 3 months before pulling the trigger on parts.

    2-3” lift with 265/75R16.

Mickey Thompson classic iii with KO2 LT.
    FOX 2.5 CO
    Camburg ball joint UCAs
    FOX 2.0 rear LSC adjustable
    Deaver j66 10 leaf

Plug and play. Install was a breeze. Penetrating oil soak and a cordless impact.

I’ve put a total of 4 turns on the CO since install for settling. Currently showing 2.5” of thread. 2 turns gave me about 1.5” each time. I put 6 50lb sand bags in the bed to help settle the leafs.

    Before
    19.5 DF
    20.5 PF
    21.5 Rear

    After
    23 front
    22.5 rear

    Everything clears. Nothing rubs.
