I'm gonna revive this because I have a question concerning my 2012 steelies on my Reg cab 4x4, no sense in starting a new thread, and it's about the size....

So I actually don't mind my steelies on my RC,
    [IMG]

So I ride over to Discount Tire yesterday and low and behold whats on display out front but the 265/75 R16 Duratracs, "Its a sign" I said to myself,

Nice young man introduces himself and we begin to talk, well they really didn't like the idea of me running them on a stock suspension 16x whatever wheel, they were really pushing the aluminum rims and such. I mean he was cool and I understand he was i sales, but I would hope if a man just want tars, than sell me tars...

I explained I used to write service for 10 years, I am very familiar with backspacing and such but it was with Honda, and that Toyota from the factory mounted a 275/70 R16 on what I thought was a 16x8 aluminum wheel, The TRD right?
He said it would probably not be enough backspacing on my factory steels to clear the added size...

So here is my big question, can I run a 265/75 R16 Duratrack on my 16x7??? Steelies and not rub,

I really want these tires and don't want to have to lift it "YET!"

    Thanks in advance,
    Zack

Here's mine, granted my tires aren't as aggressive as duratracs but I've had 0 rubbing issues

I understand the Duratracs rub more than most tires in the same size. I'm guessing it's due to the aggressive tread. With that said, I used to run Hankook Dynapro ATM's on my stock steelies and never had an issue.

    Thanks guys,

Yes the Duratrac looks pretty aggressive,

I also like the looks of the BFG All terrains,
