265/75 r16 on 2.7at?

    Hey Guys,

    Ive got a 19 SX with the 2.7 and an auto trans. Its got a 1inch leveling kit and im putting 265/75 r16 tires on it. From what I can gather its got a 3.90 rear axel ratio.

    How do you think the ole 2.7 will handle the tire size upgrade? Any issues with rubbing?

    265/75/16 shouldn't rub, but you'll definitely notice the difference. I noticed a difference going from the SR5 wheels & stock tires to NV305's and Wildpeak AT3's in stock size.

    Should be a 4.30 rear diff ratio on a gen 3 auto 4 cylinder 4x4

    It's a 3.90 if you have a manual transmission.

    it's the complete opposite of this on the v6. The TRD OR 4x4 AT has 3.91, MT has 4.30.

    I had a 2003 single cab and sold it to have the extra cash. Bought my 2016 outright.
    Just wish i didn't sell it as I could have used it as a commuter and it was very fun to drive being cabled throttle
