I ran 265/75/16s on my 1st gen with no lift and had no issues at all. Then when I bought the truck I have now I ran em, with no problems. Now I gotta 3" lift and am still running em cause I'm a cheap ass a refuse to buy new 285/75/16s when these have plenty of tread on em

    you'll be fine :)

No problems at all. In fact it is the most commonly asked question on this site, by far.

There's a thread stickied at the top of the wheels and tires forum called " largest tires sizes on stock suspension"

I bought some BF 265/75/R16 with procomp 7069 truck looks good for my 2004 taco trd doublecab . The only issue is they rub when I trun the wheel all the way to the left or right. I removed the mud flaps but still has light rub. I'm planning to get the Ultimate Tacoma lift with Bilstein shocks and new leaf springs set. Will this stop the rubbing or do I need wheel spacers?? thanks

Might need a cab mount chop but never heard of issues like that with 265's. Im running hankook dynapro 265's with no rubbing issues.

I have nitto terra grapplers 265 70r 17 and they rub on my 2003 xtra cab with stock suspension.Basically same size as the 265 75r 16 so I'm not surprised they rub at full lock/backup and turn. I had to put on spacers as these were right up against my Uca. I went with 1.25 spacers and I think that's exactly how much the tires moved outboard and I get a slight rub at lock. I suspect if you went with a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch spacer, that would give you decent Uca clearance and would help the slight rub issue? I know I can easily sell my spidertrax so I'm considering going less of a spacer. I'm waiting until I get my procomp rims and 265 75 16 set on before I change things.

I just upgraded to 265/75/16 General Grabber AT2 LT's and really did not like the space left for my UCA's.....

Purchased a set of Bora .75 spacers and life is good....only rubbing is at full turn backing and that is on the mud flap hardware ( not taking them off ;) )....

New wheel /tire combo is my avatar picture if you need a visual...

You'll have first dibs on them if I do. I have a feeling with the backspace on my new rims, the spiders will be out too much. I will have available if I get rid of the spiders. They are about a month old:)

Whoops. Meant to say I should know within 3 weeks if the spiders will be available. Hoping I have my new wheels and tires within a few weeks.
