yea I love the wheels but that poke is too much for my taste. I think I just learned an expensive lesson in wheel offset lol.

does anyone know factory 4th gen wheel offset?

    Looks fine, adds cornering stability.

But you will hate it if you ever go off-roading in wet weather (or even snow/slush on road) -- the outer edges of the tires are not protected by fenders & they will throw a disc of crap all over the sides of the truck.

Most of the 2024's I've seen are running +25mm offset.

Factory offset on Off Road wheels is +55. +25 is just about as flush as you can get with the rim aligning to the fender on an off road and sport (they have added fender flares). +35 would be closest to flush on SR5 without fender flares.

photo below is Method MR318 18x8.5 +25 offset with 285/70R17 BFG KO3s (the tread with is quite a bit narrower in BFG tires compared to comparable alternatives. Perfect IMO…

There's definitely a lot of competing body lines on the 2024's. Makes it difficult to find a setup that flows.

The poke looks fine it’s that 4th gen that’s the real eyesore. Ohhhhh 3rd gen guy does it again! Man this must be what all those 2nd gen guys have felt like the last few years. :anonymous:

in all seriousness that looks fine to me!

Unfournately Method is only offering wheels in the 106 Hub centric no 95.1 at the moment .so you need to use hub rings to make up the gap :\

You don’t need hub rings - they use extended lugs. The lugs are tapered so the wheels are “lug centric” instead of “hub centric“.

Thats correct however the 4th gen is now 95.1 hub centric 3rd gen was 106 . The only company is icon at the moment who is offering that 95.1 factory fit .Hub rings work I just would prefer that non ring 95.1factory fit . Im Hope'n Method has then soon or ill do the Icon's

As a 2.5 gen Tacoma and an offroader... Check out the skinny tire thread.. tall skinnies would give you more tire less poke to an extent

Although the OPs poke isn’t that bad and it’s a good looking truck despite the minor poke.

I don't get the huge poke. My favorite is the full size truck with rims sticking way out, yet the tire is super short.
