At 238K and humming along.....hoping don't have a head gasket in my future. Had my waterpump die a little while ago but leaking like a sieve...so obvious knew about it before getting hot.

Rolled over to 240,000 yesterday. I change oil every 10K, replaced shocks/struts at 125,000 and the alternator at 180,000. I'm on the 3rd battery, 2nd serpentine belt and 2nd set of plugs, brakes and tires as needed. That's it. I have no plans to change transmission fluid.

    AWESOME!!

i just got my 2006 back from the body shop. mild damage from a drunk driver rearender. it feels like an old truck compared to my 2023, but it still runs awesome. smooth as a sewing machine. i drove it to work today.

only issues. AC relay. AC/Heater blower motor, 2 serpentine belts, all my wheel bearings are refreshed, driveshaft rebuilt, on second carrier bearing (but the 1st time was prob a misdiagnosis), belt tensioner, and the paint clearcoat is doing that Toyota peel-thing, and suspension stuff like new shocks. my brakes feel spongy compared to the 2023, and the compass outside temp thing is a joke. haha.

    i think i can hit 300,000k easily.

I'm a couple thousand behind you....i had some less than smooth shifting and did the full drain fill using the thread on here for instructions at 190k and smooth sailing for the last 50k.

My son's 07 AC just hit 195K. Running strong. Only major issue replaced was complete a/c (compressor/condenser). Standard maintenance for a truck with this many miles (battery/brakes/shocks/alternator and regular 10K oil changes.

370k on my 07. Created more problems adding things than the truck has had on its own.

While I love seeing these threads, it annoys me to no end knowing my frame and other underside components would never make it there living in the North East.

My '05 4Runner with 240k made in Japan has less rust than my '14 Tacoma with 65k miles. The 4Runner has so little rust it's not even worth mentioning :annoyed:
