I am wondering if there is a 275 r16 tire for 2nd gen Tacomas and if there is, will eibachs on 5100s set to 0 clear such a tire?

they make them in 275/70/16 which is slightly taller and slightly wider than stock. BFG all terrain is one that comes to mind

I'm sure someone on here is. Just lurk some of the build threads on here. Any particular reason you are wanting to run 275's instead of 285's?

True but 285's look so much better :D lol just personal preference. I didn't rub that much with 285's. Just trimmed some of the plastic off and was good to go.

My 285's don't rub bad either. As soon as I get the spacers on the front they will though and I will have to trim and do the cab mount chop.

I run 275's but on a 17. No rubbing issues at all and i didnt have to remove or trim my mud guards either. i have my 5100's set at 0 but i have 885x springs.

I ran Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers so I could use my stock wheels (I like those more than any aftermarket wheel). I was going to get my cab mount chopped but that never happened lol

Maybe mine will work out like that too. Spidertrax will be here monday. I hope so. I hate to chop on a 3 month old truck but you do what ya got to do.

....i also forgot to add i have aftermarket wheels with 4.5 backspacing, so maybe some or all those factors together play a part of not rubbing

The only time I ever rubbed the cab mount was at full lock and full compression. I never got the chance to wheel the truck as much as I wanted but since I did rub I was planning on getting it cut.
