So I have a 2005 Tacoma on a 3in toytec/Bilstein lift. My two options are the ridge grappler or the KO2. I'd prefer the ridge grappler but it's only in 285's (which I assume will rub a bunch) while I can get the KO2 in 275's(which I assume will rub little not at all). I do go off roading but not anything super crazy. I'm fine with minor trimming but I'm on edge on whether or not I want to cmc. Can anyone with experience on these sizes tell me what the rubbing will be like? Thanks

When i had 285/75/16 I rubbed the cab mount ever so slightly. Chopped it and never had issues at full stuff in either direction. No issues on the front side of the wheel well as i have a pelfreybilt bumper

    Here's a pic of when i had 285's

Great looking truck! So if I go with the 285's and just bite the bullet by doing the cmc for maybe around $200 I should be good?

Thanks! She's changed a lot since then. If you have a true 3" lift i dont see you running into too many issues. I'm trying to remember if I had any rubbing up front before i threw on the pelfreybilt bumper. I chopped my cab mount myself.

I'm in northern California area, no permanent location right now because my town was the one that got wiped out in the big fire.
