ya that's crazy, I paid almost exactly that same dollar amount $28,255 after all was said and done. Mine is 09 TRD off-road, 4x4 short bed automatic with the towing package. I agree with the above, the deals are only going to get better, but I have been holding out for years now so I broke down and purchased one last month. Make sure they know you are looking at several stealers though, because my local dealer wouldn't even give me that price for an '08, so called all around and got internet quotes, then talked them down off of those. I don't know if they are still doing it, but factory incentives like $1000-$2000 cash back or financing should be there too. I would say its a great buy, our tax was like 6.5% so I probably paid more for the truck but out the door was about the same.

That is an awesome deal. Don't know what you did to get that price. Did you do online price quote, or you went in an negotiated? How much miles was on the car when you bought it? Was it new?

    39 miles.

Call 10 dealerships and tell them exactly what you want even the color. Tell them that you are calling other dealerships and they are all calling you back and the lowest one will win.

Then those 10 will call you back with there best offer out the door. ONLY TALK ABOUT OUT THE DOOR PRICES NOTHING ELSE. Call the cheapest one back and tell him someone beat him by $500. He wont want to but most likely he'll match it. Then call the dealership closest to you and tell them that price. They'll beat around the bush but they'll match it.

In the end you will spend some time on the phone over a couple days and end up with an incredible deal at the dealership closest to you!

This works for me every time. I got mine for invoice minus the current rebates minus $500. That's hard to do but if you follow my plan you'll do as good. :D

    Good Luck!
