285 0r 265?

    2009 toyota tacoma indigo ink pearl
    So i have a 2.5" leveling kit on my 08 tacoma and was wondering if i would be able to fit 285/70/17 on my truck or if i should stick with 265/70/17s
    just need some feed back.

    SpiderTrax, RCI Sliders, Warn bumper, Smittybuilt winch, Ridge Grapplers...
    I have both on 2 separate sets of wheels. You won't fit 285s on your stock wheels. They are too inset and will rub the suspension.

    I use the 265s the most as they just work better even though they give up some to the bigger tires on looks and GC.

    I just did a 2 inch leveling kit on my 2016 and swapped the TRD 16' rims with the 17' TRD Pro's and went with 285/70/17 and no issues and no rubbing.
