I purchased a set of new 285/60/18 Nitto Terra Grappers, along with some 18x10 Moto Metal 970 with a -24 offset. After going from a 2'' lift, to 4 inches, it still rubs the cab mount slightly, and some of the plastic, even after cutting. Does anyone have a similar setup, and know if a different offset wheel will take care of problem? Looking to bring the tires back in some to save my paint, but don't want to rub on the UCA in return. TIA!

Also, they do have 4.5in back spacing.

what are you running for a UCA ? what are you at on caster after the lift? sounds like the wheel needs to be centered up in the well better - more caster from the stock lower control arms will move the wheel forward, if it's not maxed out already... I know with the LR UCA's I was able (with the help of a competent alignment tech) to use the additional adjustment it allows for up top plus the stock LCA adjustment to get the well centered up and get 3* of caster - before the alignment I had a similar rub to what you describe on my driver's side running a 275/70/R17 (so about 0.35" more on total radius than a 286/60/R18)

Allignment is perfect as I'm running lift spindles, and stock UCA with no preload lift. Not sure if your caster theory holds true either, it generally holds more consideration on straight axle vehicles when fabricating suspension mock up. But more less would make your wheels "dig" into the ground, or the variable opposite; not make the wheels move on a horizontal axis. My problem seems to lie more on the offset of the wheels. I was a -24, then when I went to a spindle lift, they push the wheels out an additional .75", which is about 19mm, placing my offset at -43mm. Just seeing if anyone with this size tire and wheel dimension, have found that ideal offset that allows you to run the wider tires, while not kissing the UCA.

caster theory holds perfectly true for my set up (extensive thread on it and I've seen it in action on my truck) and solved a similar rub issue to what you describe so just offering a suggesting - also it sounds like you are describing camber not caster with the digging reference - anyway good luck hope you can solve with offset alone
