If I was to add a 600 lb load, take it on the highway on a 100 degree day for a 6 hour drive, I'm going to adjust pressure accordingly.
The math tells me I should have an additional 8 psi in each rear tire. 400 lbs would be 5 psi in each rear tire.

I say it for those who might want to, not to be argumentative.

For the record I use, math, chalk, and tire deflection to determine my PSI. More tools in the toolbox and all that...:)

Guys and Gals - What tire pressure is everyone running (daily driving) with their 285/70/17 C rated BFG's? From talking with my local Toyota dealer they recommended that I put 40 lbs of air into my tires. BFG wouldn't help for some reason. The tires are mounted on 17X8.5 Ray 10's. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

285/70/17 falken Wildpeak AT3 C rated , Access cab long bed.

I did the chalk test and my result were: 36psi front driver 35psi front passenger, 29psi for the rears.

However, I also have a 100 pound steel front bumper, about a 100 pounds of skids, another 100 in sliders, and about 80 for the supercharger.

The heftier you are, the more PSI you'll need for even tire wear. I wish there were a one size fits all answer, but unfortunately getting out there with the chalk is the best way to check.
