The cost of the Nitro Gears on Rogue Off-Road’s website are $1,325.00, plus anywhere from $150-$230 for REM Polishing if you opt for that. Then on top of that is installation and labor cost which is at least another $1,000. If you do the 8” Clamshell Bushing, recommend installing at same time because who ever is doing your gears shouldn’t need the install or removal tool bc they will be open anyways so no additional charge there, is another $60-$200. $200 if you insist on getting the removal and install tools regardless. However, I’d recommend hitting up people on here to purchase theirs. I know mine are floating around currently. I’d say most people are spending between $2,500-$3,000 to get this done unless they do it themselves or know people. I got my gears for $1,000, Removal and Install cost me $300 because it was my cousin and me that completed that ourselves, and then setting up the gears cost me $400. So I paid $1,760.00

Side note: I didn’t do the REM polishing and I’m completing the break in myself. I’ve had no issues and I absolutely love them.

What @KTJO 4x4 said! The regear is hands down the best mod I’ve done to my truck to date.

From what I researched when I was researching with parts and labor included it was 2k and up depending on the shop.

Is the break just easy driving for 500ish miles and change the oil?

Hi! I saw this is an old thread but was wondering how things were going on Summer gas?

Also, based on my terrible unused engineering education from 20 years ago, I believe you travel approximately 9% further on 33's per revolution from 30s (2*pi*15 vs 2*pi*16.5)....so if you're losing approx 20% in mpg (18 vs 14), actually it's only about 1/2 as bad right?
