II am thinking about going down to a 16 inch wheel because my local tire guiy is retreading tires and selling them 100 per tire . I now have 285 70 17 but he sells a 285 75 16 that I am looking at and was wanting to know the difference in size.....taller or wider?

    285/75/17 is .1" larger diameter.

    285/70/17 = 32.7 Diameter
    285/75/16 = 32.8 Diameter

Thank you guys! I have the tundra split spoke wheels now and the 285 70 17s and I think its gonna be cheaper for me to go to a 16 wheel .....like I said my guy retreads tires with Bfg all terrain tread and mud terrain and he sell them for $100 a piece. I just found some 16 inch oem wheels for 100 bux so i think i will do that!
