Hey guys, I have a 2015 Tacoma Sport 4x4 with a 3 inch level lift in front but still stock in the rear.. Getting my 285/70r17 Cooper STT Pro tires soon and I was wondering if they will clear the back being stock height? I will be adding a 1.5" Icon expansion pack shortly but getting tires first.

    Thanks!

    Whole lotta stuff
3 inches up front is far from a leveling lift. You will be nose-high by at least 2 inches. Are you stock 17 inch sport rims? If so, your concern might be weather or not the tire will clear the rear shock absorbers (and UCAs up front). Not sure how much room is back there. I have 285/70R17 on my stock rims but I have wheel spacers.

They should. I had two sets of 285/75/16s and they fit fine in the rear. On paper they are actually 0.1" bigger than a 285/70/17s.

Okay cool. Yeah I am sitting nose high till I install the expansion pack. I also have 1.25" wheel spacers front and rear with stock sport wheels, sorry I forgot to mention that! My total chaos UCAs are arriving Thursday. Thanks guys!

Haha nice! Badass truck man. I won't be doing anything with extreme articulation like that until I get my expansion pack in there then lol. Good find! Thanks

    Thanks man!
The fronts will probably give you the most issues. I had Long travel up front when I moved up to 285s and I had to adjust the caster because they were hitting the frame horn that mounts to the body to the frame at full lock going up driveways. You are probably going to need to trim a bit, take off the mud flaps and either get wheels with more back spacing or wheel spacers too like @Supra4x4 said. Alot of people move up to 285s I'm sure someone will add to this.

Yeah I forgot to mention I already have 1.25" wheel spacers in the original post and UCAs will be arriving Thursday. I already have my mud flaps off and plan on trimming the wheel well if needed. Cab mount chop if needed!
