I've considered it. There just isn't a different wheel out there that I really want over my current TRD beadlock style wheels. Possibly the 6-lug version of the tundra rock warrior wheels, but I'd be paying up the ass for them.

So no one is going to ask? Ok.

What are your intentions with the truck? Street queen? Mall Crawler? Overlander/ crawler? Off roader at a higher speed than crawling through rocks? Mud slinger?

Well thats actually a good question. I do some very light off roading, nothing really major, i have a polaris rzr for that. So it will mainly be street use but there is the chance that it will go offroad, but no kind of rock crawling or anything major like that. Just maybe out some fire roads or gas well roads to have a fire and drink some.

IMO if you OffRoad and see a serious need for bigger tires, that's when you should upgrade. If you see a need for more ground clearance, then you should go up a size. But since you're only going on fire roads and are daily driving it, I'd stick with 265s. You can go everywhere you're wanting to go with 265s without a problem.

    IDK , I have 275/70/17

There's a 255/85/16 owners thread though and with stock BS wheels , trimming is minimal to none

I think I replied a different way forst lol Sorry never done it. There wasn't much of a downfall. Just had to do a little bit of trimming to the flares and liners. But I need to trim the cab mount I think. At full left turn you can't even fit a finger between the tire and cab mount.

    Just a grocery getter
    285/75/16

I trimmed interior plastic out. Did a cab mount chop and beat in the pinch weld. No rubbing even at full lock
