I have 285/75/16 Toyo AT3's on OEM wheels for my '20 OR DCLB with the added weight of a winch and bumper. Toytec recommended 2.5" lift and 1.25" wheel spacers and SPC uca's. They said the uca's may not be needed on a new vehicle but would really become necessary with more miles on it to accommodate front end alignment needed for clearance. So, I did all at once to avoid any future issues. I have no rubbing and the cost of uca's and spacers is far less than new rims and, I like the OEM look with a meaty tire. Remember however, the TRD rims are about 1/2" narrower than the others. Mine rims were at the MINIMUM recommended width for the new tires.

Now you want to debate the definition of “probable”. Like I said earlier. Fuck off. Stop derailing this thread.

I'm going through this same dilemma. I have 265/75/16 on stock OR wheels and JBA UCAs. I really want to put 285/75/16s on there when I get new tires (probably a year or so off). I also have 1" spacers on there. Maybe that will help clear the UCA's. I don't want to buy new wheels because I spent money getting my stock ones powdercoated gunmetal and I really like them. At least I have time to figure it out. But it is kinda lame that the UCA's won't clear those tires.

Will most likely rub without spacers or more offset.

I went with a recommended 1.25" spacer instead of 1" with your desired tire size. 1" spacer might make it rub. Spacers are relatively cheapo_O
