    Ahem, umm it's June 6th :D

    We want pics!

Did you consider the 305/70/17 size in a km2 at all? They are a touch wider but 34" tall as well.

I will get better ones later! I didn't go with the 305 because they would of rubbed badly. I went from 305/65/17 to these 285/75/17's and I don't think I will need to trim anything more than I did for the 305/65's. The 305/65/17's tore off the rear flare because of the width, they were like 13" wide on my 9" wheels.[IMG]

So when you getting an axle relocate plate? Without it those will rip off your replacement flare and tear out the fender liner in back on your first rear stuff.

Those only fit drop bracket or spindle lifted trucks.

I just took the truck to my local off road area and i stuffed the tires as full as they could possibly stuff and the rear no longer rubs at all, Thanks to the allpro rear springs! The front rubbed a tiny bit on the fender flare so that needs a slight trimming, cab mount cleared fine with the current chop. As for performance in the sand and hard packed dirt I was pleased but not super impressed. I missed my claws when I got to the park, but I sure didn't miss them on the highway to the park. The claws definitely destroy these in offroad capabilities, by far! With the claws at 25psi I can climb most all the hills in 2wd with the rear arb engaged. With the BFG's at 15PSI I had to lock it in 4wd much more often than ever before. I didn't want to air down too low because I was there with only my 3 year old daughter, and she wouldn't have been much help resetting a bead;)

Might be the case for a truck that hasn't been trimmed, but my trucks been trimmed a lot. And I have the allpro rear standard pack that relocates the axle back 1".

Damn! Truck looks badass with those 34's on bro! Thanks for sharing pics with us and if you have a pic with a head on view that would be nice to see. Did you take any pics while flexing the truck out?

Good to see you don't have to trim the flares much more and you didn't have to beat in the pinch weld in as well.

Now I think I'm torn even more over stepping up to 34s or 35s. Ugh, at least I have awhile to decide.

I think the fact that these are 285's makes a big difference between actual 35's. They are much skinnier than my 305's were but are 1.5" taller. I flexed the truck at full stuff and had a tiny amount of rubbing on the front plastic flare, 10 second fix. I will get some better pics asap

And they still rub or did major reconstruction to their fenders... often both. I can't tell you how many times I have seen people claim their tires fit yet they rub everytime they wheel. Your seeing it in a post does not mean you should be so self righteous that you roll yours eyes and dismiss my experience. I only try to help because so many people told me you can clear 295s or 305s or tires over 33" and it has been pure headaches getting 285/70r17 to fit. Countless hours of work, body damage, money, etc. But you saw it in a pic on the internet so it must be true...

Then again... go ahead and buy em and go wheel somewhere other than the local mall. You will see ehat I am talking about.

I am looking at the pics of you wheel placement and unless you have longer than factory bumps to limit wheel travel you did not stuff the wheel fully because you would not have a flare left if you did that with a replacement flare on there. Im getting quite familiar with the distance the factory spring location and shackles moves the wheel forward under negative arch and noone can run your tires and factory bumps without a relocate plate or repositioning spring pack or they will do damage to their flares... probably ripping them off, breaking tabs and causing a three figure repair. The fact people did not warm of this is why I tore mine off with 285/70r17. For anyone considering this tire size... you have been warned. Perhaps your springs cause a different movement. My tires pushed into bolts and other metal items and were not that close.

The rear of my truck rubs ZERO, so not sure why you say it will rip the fender off??? I trimmed the plastic fender flare a little but it doesn't rub at all. I also have the all pro springs and they relocate the axle back 1", I promise you the rear doesn't rub at ALL. I will post some pics of my truck with the tires fully stuffed tomorrow, there is no rubbing and I run an arb locker. Before the allpro springs i rubbed horribly.
