Just to be on the safe side, i'll be running 275/70 on my 17's when the day comes. I see a lot off inconsistencies with rubbing with the 285

    Some stuff...
FWIW I'm running Cooper ST Maxx @ 285/70/17 on 17" ProComp 7032's (4.75 BS i believe) & I rub on uneven slopes @ full lock. Did a little fender trimming but gonna have to do more, and definitely CMC since I wheel pretty hard in the mountains.

I subscribed to this thread when I was trying to decide what size tires I should get. My set up is Icon Stage 4 Billet with Raceline 981 Raptors - 4.5 Back Spacing and Toyo Open Country A/T II's at 285/75R16. There is definite rubbing. Nothing a dremel couldn't fix in less than an hour. I have no idea how Traction120 has no rubbing with wheeling like that. Now I will agree there was no need for a cab mount chop. You can see the cutting I had to do on my build page.

I know this is old but how close were your tires to the UCA? I want to get this setup

Has anyone run these with the stock Trd pro/Baja wheels and suspension? How much rubbing was there?
