I have a 2017 Taco SR with front Bilstein 6112's on setting 0/1.

I bought a 2019 TRD Pro and put 285's on it- Stock.

I have a set of TRD Offroad wheels and mounted 285's on them. I tried the wheels tires on both trucks.

That being said. On the SR the 285's rub the UCA's to the point that the tire won't spin. On the Pro, they cleared without issue on the same rims.

I have searched and found suggestions on UCA's, but not many people actually replaced their UCA's. Wanted to make a more clearly readable thread that actually directly answers the question.

Fellow SR people, any other SR's replace there Upper control arms and cleared with the 285's.

I do not want to use wheel spacers.

    Which UCA's did you buy?

They rub because the offset of the wheels. You need spacers if you want to run the OR wheels they are 5.5” BS iirc.

Pro wheels are 4.5” BS which is why the clear just fine.

I used the Off road wheels on the pro and it didn't rub.

I really don't want to go back to 265's..

I have that and more if desired with the Bilstein 6112 setup in the front
