as it stated 285/75 or 305/70? i know both might rub. i have 16x8 pro comps with i believe 4.5'' BS. i dont do any thing crazy off road just trails and such. so is it worth the extra trimming to fit the 305? im leaning more towards the 285 but my friend thinks i will not be happy with the look of them on the truck (2011 TRD off road ac) i have the 265's now and they look like S*** since i put the 5100's on and the 2'' AAL. is there much of a difference between the 265 and the 285? i know on paper its not a huge difference. any input would be appreciated . and i know this has been asked a number of times but i never saw a really definitive answer. thanks! and as always pics would help a lot!

285/70r17 for comparison... big difference, lots of cutting to fit. I would never recommend 305 tires over 33" tall . I would not even recommend 295/70r17 because they will always rub.

Cool thanks. I am going with the 285's . It should be more than enough for what I'm looking at.
