Got to go out and really see what rubs this weekend.
Absolutely rubbing on my fender flares, even with superbumps.
Slow stuffing wasnt bad, occasional rubbing on the top of the flare/wheel well, but full compression from 55mph unloads sure did the trick. I'll probably throw some 1/4" bumpstop spacers up front and see what that does. Unfortunately this is probably no use for the 3rd gen crowd but goddam am i glad i went with the 75 instead of the 70. Even some of the guys on 35's who still rub everywhere were jealous when they saw that my tires were just as tall at theirs are. Most 35's measure 34.5 and a 1/4" difference in tire height is pretty much indistinguishable to the naked eye, the width was of course noticeable lol

This thread just made me really regret going with the 285/70/17 KO2s I bought two months ago :annoyed:

Can you clear 285/75/r17 with a 3" lift or what else would I need to clear them? I was gonna go with 285/70s but damn I'm loving the 75s look and now I want it!! I'm waiting for my wheels to arrive I ordered the mr317 method.

I have around 2.5” over stock, with SPC upper control arms, that got me driving.. Cab Mount chop was necessary as well as trimming and heat gun on the plastic fender liner towards the headlight/front of truck. I’m good now 99% of the time but will get a tiny rub on the CMC plate when fully locked turning off road. Worth it :sawzall:

After reading some of these and looking at pics, my next set of tires will be 285/75/17 instead of the 285/70 i have now. I will probably rub on my CMC a bit at full lock but oh well, as I am about 1/4-1/2" away now.

I made the jump from 285/70 to 285/75 and I dont have any problems on my CMC. I do rub on the plastic on the backside of the fender well sometimes, but it's very minimal. You can get down there and hammer that back but I just say hell with it lol

All I need to know is that it takes beating on ones truck with a large mallet (pinch welds) in order to make these tires fit. Can you imagine all of the corrosion from this within the rust belt?

That's funny. When I first lifted my truck, I had noticeable positive camber, not negative camber. I bought SPC UCAs and was able to set them at 0 degrees. You might wanna look into it or your inner portion of your tires is going to wear real quick.

Not sure if most shops will touch the camber adjustment on SPCs. We just loosened the bolt, pushed the tire until it looked right and fine tuned it with just an angle finder mounted some steel bar. Tightened it all back up and I was able to get within ~.1 or so. My tires (sadly just 285/70/17s for now) have worn beautifully over the last 25k miles or so.
