So I called Discount Tire today and I spoke to this guy named Kelly and he told me that "I can" run a 285/75/16 on my factory wheels. He said the only reason why Discount Tire wouldn't mount them in the past is because BFG rated that set up at a 100% failure...but, new tests and studys have proven that it's totally fine (thats what this Kelly guy said) and I guess he ran that same set up for 5 years on his 4 runner with no problems at all. I think i'll have them put that shit in writing so just in case something bad happens it'll be on them telling me it was fine

Good idea. Though I have never heard of anyone having issues on stockers and that size.

Because that tire will rubb the OEM UCA's. unless, of course, you have aftermarket UCA's.
