285s on stock 01 tacoma

    lift, wheels, tires
    I plan on going back to stock suspension and 265s because of my ridiculous daily commute....so my question is can i run my 285s on my stock suspension for a while till i get my 265s?? I have M/T classis IIs 16x8....i think the BS is 4 or so....will it work or not??

    Does the lift really affect your gas milage?? I think it has more to do with the 285's than the 3" lift.

    yup more tire the motor has to turn more gas it takes

    Yeah i know its the tires, but ill look like a jacklegg running stock tires on a 3" lift....i drive upwards of 125 miles/day

    No it wont, my brother does it on his 96 tacoma.

    The green one is my brothers runs 265/75 r 16 on his. looks pretty good!!
