im personally buying the cooper stt's within a couple of months. i have searched around online and found them for as little as 177 for a 285/70/16. ive seen them in persona dn compared to the bfg at's they are a better tire. i dont think you will have any problems with them if you get a MT tire and dont wheel that much. those tires look mean as hell and they are getting great reviews for road manners, mud, rocks and snow. to me cant go go wrong with them

if you have the $$$ got with Toyo, a little heavy, but man do they perform on and off road!!! those tires feel almost bullet proof, very think rubber and they look so good also

I think I'm going to get the Cooper's when I get a lift. There is a fj down the street from My house with those tires in 285/70/17 and they look so good with the rims I have.

Sounds great guys. I forgot to put on BFG KM2's. Lots of people run them on this site it looks like....Everyone like them? In reviews I heard that they sidewalls are not as strong as the orignal KM1's. Sick looking tire though.

if u want your tires to last and have more money in your pocket in the long run go BF Goodrich, if u want tires that will last u 30k miles and u dont have the money go general.

STTs were an easy choice for me since they're one of the few MTs that have siping in them. Not a big deal if you're in the south west US, but anywhere else where the weather isn't sunny every day the siping will make driving in the rain/snow safer.

Once I get a lift I'll probably be switching to Toyo M/Ts since they're basically the same thing and they are one of the few made in the size I want to run (33x10.5x15)
