You’ll most likely need a cab mount chop to clear them.

yes, no CMC needed. 285/70's are a tad smaller than the more common 285/75's that most here run, including myself. Wheels backspacing should be 4.5 or less and possibly some trimming of inner plastic of the wheel well if needed along with removal of front mudflaps.

The same shit everyone else has.
Wheel offset and width will determine how and if they’ll fit.

Like he said wheel offset will play a large factor here. Either way you will probably rub the cab mount in certain situations... I actually would almost guarantee that you will rub the cab mount... but something you can definitely live with especially just daily driving. Having an alignment shop move the caster to where the wheels are more forward can help too. I have 255 85 16s with a cab mount chop and still rub at full lock when backing up or when stuffed. Good luck and don't forget to post pictures.

I have 285/75s and a hair under 3” of lift up front. Negative offset wheels. No cab mount chop

The kicker is the alignment is set so the wheels are pushed as far foreword as physically possible. Instead of doing a cab mount chop I had to trim the shit outta the fender liners and bottoms of the flaresto make more room on the bumper side.

I think you can run 285/70/16s with that lift and no CMC if you have adjustable UCAs and push you alignment as far forward as possible like I mentioned. And run the correct wheel offset and width.

Thinking about going with 275X75X16....I have the Bilstein 5100, I'm getting on there & stock springs, up front & bought me some TRD (new) that where for a FJ. Not black, aluminum. 16X7.5, will have to see what that looks like.
