Thanks! Kings up front with Camburg Uniball UCAs. Rear lift is just about a 1.5” lift/level block for now while I wait for new leaf packs and rear Kings which should give me another half inch +. No CMC, with Caster set to 4.3 I’ve got zero rubbing at full lock either way going forward or in reverse. Only had to bend some plastic out of the way. Rims are 17x8.5 Kmc XD301 Turbines with -6 offest.

And the bending plastic was only needed when the tires travel up into the wheel well. Around town, I haven’t had any contact with any part of the frame/fenderwell...

What tire pressures are you all finding optimal for the 295/75/16? I have run the Hankook mtrt03 in this size before at near stock pressures with no problems. Just put on a set of Toyo AT II's in the same size but have not found a sweet spot on psi, without the rear giving me a hopping feeling. Bumps and wash board roads don't really feel any worse than before. I did have them rebalanced, but not really much of a difference. One thing that is different from the Hankook vs the Toyo is load range d vs e. Maybe that makes a difference.

Maybe I'm just hyper sensitive to how they ride, since they're brand new. I just expected a little better ride going from MT to AT. Maybe the hopping is drive shaft related and not rear tires? Just kicking ideas around to others with similar setup

Any update on the XLT’s? Im considering them as my next tire choice. I’m sold on the 295/75/16. Now I just have to decide which tires to get.

Anyone run 295/75r16 with a stock front bumper on a gen3?
I have my lift in the basement ready for install. I just went with ome887/5100’s with a light racing uca. Grabbed some superbumps also.
I went ahead and did a cmc because I do wheel a little and looking at some 8” wide 16” wheels and a little wider stance than stock (-12 at most).

This is a great question. I was wondering the same thing, but thought it may be a stupid question... as in “no chance of fitting”. But I’m curious, I would cut the shit out of my CM to fit that tire while running a 2.5” lift and 4.5” backspaced wheel?

The Toyos will sit higher and taller... but the BFGs are smoother and quieter.. To do it over, I would do the BFGs.. As the Toyos I have spun on features also. Don't get me wrong the Toyos don't wear out but the BFGs are really buttery..

hands down the 295 is the best tire for the taco in the 33" category.. Just really makes a good stance.
