We’ve had this info for years. I’m sure it works but to what degree? I dunno. Can’t hurt to throw in some additive

Basically, the tacoma has 12 injectors.

Direct injectors for fuel economy, power and efficiency, but they blow into the cylinder and the intake valve never gets cleaned.

It has port injection as the 6 other injectors simply for cleaning the intake valves.

Any other manufacturer has problems with carbon deposits on the intake valves. Toyota does not.

All gasoline is a cleaning agent. But if its not spraying on the valve, it never gets cleaned.

So that is why adding an oil catch can off the manifold is not necessary unless you do a lot of inclined wheeling, as I'm reading. Hmm..
