    I was thinking diesel in the future but 2jz looks so much better!!!!

    First of all, whats up Torspd, its Mclovin. And second, sorry to bring this old ash thread up, but ive noticed quite alot of false info that kinda bothers me. To the person who called the 2JZ-Gtte a 2JZdett??? Dett is a nissan code, not toyota. Sorry, but that really shows you don't know what your talking about. Next, a stock 2JZ in good shape can hold at least 800WHP and close to 900-1000CHP. The stock 2JZ also makes 320hp and 315tq stock. Thats just about 100 more than a stock 1gr makes. With similar mods, the 2jz will always be more powerful than a 1gr. Think about it.

    Now finally, whatever power you want, sound you like, or money you have to spend, its up to you. I would love to have a Toyota motor no matter what. That being said, id love to drop a 2j in my 4x4 but id also love to have a 3ur as well. Just pick what you want and go with it.
