Very nice. Im only aware of one other 2nd gen 2jz in Dubai. Always dreamed of this swap when I had my XRunner. Where are you located?

Haha well this build has been on the low for a while. Sorry for not doing the typical step by step for you guys but I'm not always at the shop and the swap was done by my mechanic. But what I can offer you is the sweet rewards of the post build.

Bad news. The $800 clutch that I thought would stand up to the turbo got burned to the bone. This is after driving it for I'd say roughly 40 minutes.. btw it was brand new when it was installed. Oh well looks like it's going to be twin disc.

Thanks, r154 trans. As for the specs, your typical 2jzgte vvti 97 Supra.

Yes single turbo only. Well this is going to be daily driven so between 400-500. Once some time has past, might upgrade a few things to take it up a notch

(P.s currently building a Starion to drag race with a 1jz)

Take it easy for a bit, dude. Nice swap and build but those A/F ratios were going very high under boost. Might want to get that sorted out before you blow the motor. If you are on the stock tacoma fuel pump, that needs to be upgraded.

You probably smoked the clutch because it wasnt broken in. Should break it in for at least a hundred miles of easy stop/go before you apply full power. Also, your tach is off.

    Sub'd for future updates.

Sooooo, I need to ask again. After seeing the AFR's like the other member mentioned, I am curious. Was that an earlier video, taken right after the swap was completed but only recently edited and uploaded?

I ask because in the introduction of the engine bay, I still see that PCV port on the valve cover still open creating a possible vacuum leak. Has that been capped or fixed yet?
