I threw mine in without the switch and its actually quite easy to engage. Was just too lazy to go switch route, figured i would regret it, but its been easy.

I have been reading and watching in the background, would be a very useful upgrade. Excited to purchase a module when they become available!

    Hey Guys,

Been away for a couple weeks on a trip and have been doing some catch up at work this last week. Here is where things are at.

Roughly 100 modules have been assembled (components put on the PCB's, programmed and all put in cases). While I couldn't find a company to do the entire harness I have recently subbed out the terminal crimping to a company. That's a big step forward since I wasn't looking forward to or have a bunch of time to crimp all those which for 100 modules is over 5,000 terminals

I can't say for sure when they will have it all complete but I suspect within the next few weeks. I'll handle pinning the connectors once that is done.

I will probably make a thread for people who want to be signed up for these in a week or so just to keep everything organized.

I was going to do the secondary switch until @Zacowacko posted how easy it was. It was literally 30 minutes from start to finish with me throwing an extra zip-tie in.

    Haha

Ya its easy as hell. I was going to do the switch as well, but figured i'd get it in so i could start using it. After using the selector a few times, i'm probably not going to bother taking up a switch slot on the dash. Save that spot for other cool stuff i dont need, lol.

And love the functionality, no more roasted clutch. My old wranglers, i used to do the same thing. It was just removing the vacuum crap and adding a manually actuated cable ran to the cab.

I've emailed the company to see when they expect to have all of the wires crimped. Once I know I'll update you guys.

maybe someone can help me out here, can anyone help me intentify my 4x4 ECU. Right behind where the glove box handle is, I find the cabin air filter back there.

    20181030_150632.jpg

if thats it off to the right there, the connectors aren't the same. I must be missing it somewhere.

    Thanks

Use a 10mm socket and remove the gold bolt right behind the glove box latch. That plastic pops off and it’s up to the right
