    You would retain the same factory E-Locker functions. Can be engaged in low range but not in high range. If you are looking to engage the locker in high range there is a locker anytime mod that does work in combination with this module.

    Yeah if you go twin stick then you would be able to achieve 2lo mechanically without the need for a 2lo module.

    Hope that helps :)

    Do floor mats count? ;)
    @Grant83

    Yes please! I frequently tow a dump trailer and this will reduce my use of the clutch for backing into tight spots.

    Sign me up please! I've wanted a lower 1st and reverse more times than I can count. I'm a '10 V6 4x4 6MT TuRD sport if any of that matters. This is mainly for manual trans owners it seems, but it would work on auto trans also it sounds like.

    This does help a lot thank you, how does this mod box work with the locker anytime mod? Does the factory harness still get spliced or does the mod harness get spliced?

    My 2nd gen was a sport model so I didn't really take that close of a look at the locker anytime mod. I know there are a number of people who had the locker anytime mod and then later installed the 2lo module and they both worked together just fine. That would have been with the mod done to the factory wiring.

    Given all of the modifications for the locker anytime mod would be to the wiring going to 4wd ECU (I am assuming this is the case), you should be able to make the modifications to the 2lo harness and have the same result. The color coding on the 2lo harness was not matched up to the factory wiring so you would really need to know what you were doing and not just following along online instructions such as "cut yellow wire" etc.
