Forgot to add, if you could include the size of the nut. That way I can buy the appropriate bolt. Been looking something like this for a while. Thanks for bringing it back up.

Probably do something like a 3/8" or 7/16" if we get 10 I'll go by home Depot and figure out which I will do.

Someone mentioned this could withstand freeway speeds. So 65MPH?
Has anyone ran something similar and had zero issues? I've had the hardware and idea to fab up my own mount and pole for a 4' x 3' flag but wouldn't want it to come loose while on the freeway.

 

whats the deal with people driving around with flags looking like complete hiljacks.

 

Well I made one from PVC and it help up on the freeway at speeds up to 75 soooo maybe that'll help this would be metal so a little stronger but it will also have less flex so...

 

They could be used while offroading for better visibility. Someone also makes a CB antennae wrapped in LEDs for that reason.

 

They can double as fishing pole holder.

 

I'll be using mine while tailgating at football games

 

The plate is at the bottom so no it will not go all the way through

 

Using the bolt through or just the bolt compression method it will hold at highway speeds I'm sure. I will be using the bolt through method on mine.
