I think bedliner spray is the way to go.. 20 for pc is kinda hard to turn down but once it gets scratched up it's gonna cost a lot more than 20 to get it re powdercoated. Hard to turn down 20 for pc though

Powder Coat is pretty damn durable compared to paint or Bedliner. Unless you’re crawling around on rocks all day. In which that case it would be easier to touch up. I’m going the PC route myself especially for $20. I think it will hold up and if not I’ll have my buddy blast it and recoat.

Wish I had a buddy at a pc shop.. that would save me loads of money haha. I've been waiting on bolts and washers for a week for my bushwackers to get pc'd

Yea its actually my father in law. Pretty damn lucky really cause they are hard to find in this area. I’ve been considering hitting up fastenal for some anodized black replacements for my flares. Never even considered powder coating them. Nice idea!

Just to be sure before I pull the trigger, this mounts overtop of the existing oem (factory) tin skid plate? And how many bolting points? Can it be used without the factory skid plate? Sorry if any of these are stupid q’s, did my best to try and figure out prior to asking.

I just got a set of bushwackers and had them color marched speedway blue... then i took all the showing hardware like those useless bolts on the outside of the flares is what I'm getting pc'd so the showing bolts and washers aren't stainless steel.. Like the only chrome thing left. I HATE CHROME lol

It mounts using the factory anchor points. Can't remember if it's 4 or 6. I feel their's no need to keep that factory tin thing on as dirt & debris will just accumulate between the two. Their's no stupid questions here just stupid answers. Think this does the job way better than the factory aluminum one.

I hear you there. I’ve been slowly weeding all mine out but still have some stainless hardware. It kinda all goes together so I’ve left them be for the time being.

That I don't know. Guess it depends on the bumper but one way or another, a bumpers not a skid so you're likely gonna need one anyway.
