Ok I could not pick a better day to discuss the topic of warmth for this trip. Last year it snowed for three days. This year no telling, but one this is certain it will be cold. I will be warm in my camper and have a easy up to set camp kitchen up with tarps blocking in like last time. But going to throw this idea out there. If someone can find and bring a 4 inch steel pipe that is about 6 foot long. Then each person that wants heat in their tent would be required to have a 4 inch tee and a dryer vent tube. One one end will be a 4 inch fan and the steel pipe would go through the fire then each person can attach to the heater. What do you guys think.

 

hahahaha you need some kinda smoke filter and it should be all good. I can bring a 2", 3", 4" stick of pipe. Whatever size pipe i can get

 

or we can just make a batch of jalapeno chili and all have flames shooting out our a____.

 

last thing i want to do is have to go into the thicket and drop a hot sh*t in the cold.

-9 really makes me not give a fuck what the weather will be like that weekend. 32 would feel like summer right now.

Windchill here was supposed to be -4 yesterday. May not be as cold as most places but that unheard of for Memphis. It is rarely ever in the low 20s and never in the single digits or negatives

 

-30 windchill here. In the shop I work at it was -4 most of the day
