:help:Luckily bears will be far from near us, they are scared of EVERYTHING.... HOWEVER because of all this awesome weather I have seen 2 mountain lions and 1 bobcat in the last month.... and they like to eat little dogs and camp food.

When we were winter camping the mountain lion jumped on top of the tree behind our tent and just waited until it was clear to attempt a food grab. Hopefully next time I can get good pictures!

The guy who comes out to get Mountain lions in my dads area uses a jack russell terrier to tree them. He had to come out and get one that was attacking livestock at my dad neighbor. My dad said that little jack russell treed that sucker like it was a kitten.

Ya any thing noisy and they are GONE. Only problem with big dogs is they usually don't bark.

They are nice but without a decent mount they take up to much room. I personally like the water tank that lays on the floor for the Tacoma. 50 litre and has a pump. Light and keeps cog low. Plus it saves space in the bed and is something else I don't have to move around.
