    Your big ass limo has more coolant, oil cooler and lamer timing. Big boy race bikes don't have that stuff so you have to be careful when its hot in the dunes or a 450 can overheat really quick. Hopefully this year its not as hot as last year but 90-100* last year was too hot for my bike

    The problem is the modern 4 stroke bikes are not made to idle. Riding is fine but you can't stop at all. I've seen bikes puking a steady stream of radiator fluid after idling around the crowds at olds looking for friends for literally 2 minutes. The other thing is your water pump only spins as fast as your rpm's, so if you think it's overheating DO NOT baby it, ride it like there's no tomorrow and it will actually run cooler

    Cool its my first 4 stroke also I have always ridden 2 strokes so thats good to know. I need to pick up a paddle tire. How many paddle tire should I get 6,7,... ?

    4 stroke 450 can handle 10 but I always run an 8 paddle. The 10 paddles are harder to break loose and slide. Look up "kings tire turbo paddle" and get an 8. You won't be disappointed and Ryan's face will hate you :p
