@Elevated I just finished my build thread today and I put links to all my CB equipment if you're still interested.

Sending my permit out tomorrow morning, I feel like i've been slacking and hope I get it quickly.

Awesome. I'll check it out when I get home and am in my office. Using my phone and it sucks to look at pics off of it.

I think you should get your permit in time. It took them 6 or 8 days to get mine. Don't remember exact date I sent it out.

Permit sent out today, I'm really excited for this trip.

Do we use a certain/specific CB channel for everyone? Or will we decide on day of Idk how this cb stuff works with groups just yet.

CB's we usually stay on 16 (4x4=16). There's usually a lot of stops along the trail for whatever reason, I'd like to try and keep this run a smooth flowing as possible. We've got double the amount of trucks signed up this year!

On that note, I think we're going to make a minor change in the meeting spots.

For now we'll still meet at Badass Coffee in Santa Rosa, but I'm going to change the second meeting spot from the Middlecreek Campground to the Gas Station at the corner of Hwy 20/ Hwy 29. We all stopped there last time to fuel up, and it's easy to get to, plenty of space, pumps, etc. as well as bathrooms, snacks etc. the Middlecreek stop seems a little redundant being that it's only 5 miles away from the gas station. We have a LONG day and a lot of driving, so I'd like to make that change. I will be posting this update in the OP.

Will it be 6speed friendly? It will by my first time offroading.

^ as I've posted before, there is a graded dirt road that leads to the top of Hull Mt, all of the "trails" are optional. Again depending on the conditions, All Terrains might be ok, might not. 6spd is what I drive. You have 4Lo. Being a first timer off roader is fine, but be aware of the conditions and if you're not comfortable don't get in over your head. Of course we will leave no one behind, but just try not to be a doofus and do something that will end up holding up the group of 20+ trucks. And you have a few weeks till then to practice. Go to Hollister this weekend, find a muddy dirt road. Get a feel for it.

I don't mean to be curt, but there's been a lot of questions about "can my truck make it?" "Am i ok on AT tires?" Etc. I honestly can't tell you guys one way or the other. If it's your first time off road, I have no idea if you'll make it. Hell for all I know you'll wreck it in the ditch the second you hit dirt. Or maybe you're Ivan Fucking Stewart. Not sure. And for the AT guys, watch the video. Last years trip saw an experienced driver on 35" AT's stuck as fuck 10 feet up the trail.

So be your own best judge. Everyone is welcome, and it is a great time. I hope to see everyone out there enjoying themselves!

    Cheers :)
