    Fry's has handheld CB radios that you can buy. My cousin picked up a cobra for around $60 and it works great. I installed a Cobra 75 WXST that I got from Fry's few days ago but that one was much more than a handheld

    My doors are the only stock things left besides the headlights
    So was mine, and when I made the hole in the arms I bored it to the exact size plus a thousandth, hole wasn't worn or anything, just my driving habits, did a donut around a pissssed off cow yesterday lol

Body Armor rear bumper with swing arm tire mount, TRD Exhaust, URD True Cold Air intake, TRD Front Brakes, RIGID INDUSTRIES grill and LED bar installed in it, LED Rear Lights, TracRack rack system, tool box. Sold the truck. Bought 2016 ram 2500 Laramie diesel. (7/2016) Picked up 97 Tacoma 4x4 Extended Cab 3.4L. Building motor now. (8/2017)
    Planning to meet up Oakland. :) am pretty excited about this trip! Getting last minute things prepped for trip and off to bed.


    I'm having issues with my CB radio. Can't get it tuned and don't have time to place antenna in different location. SWr readings are at 2ish and antenna firestick adjustment is turned all the way down already..

    it's 99% not the antenna but what the antenna attaches to. check to make sure you have the nylon washer between your body/chassis/door/frame/rack mount and your antenna mount.

    I checked. the washer is on both sides of the mount area. So am lost. Maybe you all can help me out when we get to a stop.

    there's only one nylon washer for the top, the bottom should be a straight up nut to lock down the antenna mount to the bracket. you need to make sure that there's enough metal exposed between the chassis and the mount and the nut for the mount.

    the outside of the so-239 connect is supposed to be grounded to the chassis, the antenna itself is electrically isolated from the ground.
