No worries. I'll just bang it out like a skid plate. After all they are just dogs.

Definitely had fun out there today. Made it back safe. Looking forward to wheeling and doing it again next year.
Big thank you to @ffdawson for putting it together!

Those Christmas trees didn't stand a chance against that army...

We missed out. Ice sliding, nut losing, dog bowl crushing, spindle bending... All part of the fun. We're definitely in next year.

Thanks man... But I was seriously bummed to miss out on this trip. 5 year old daughter had a violin recital- couldn't miss it. Next year she'll be holding a hatchet instead of a bow.

I was bummed to miss it too. I'll be there next year. Coming from SoCal. Graduating this year so finals won't be in the way.

Also, any of you guys going to the bald mountain meet up on January 9? Not sure how local that is to most of you.

Wow! What a trip! First off, thanks to EVERYONE who participated. And thanks for your patience. Guiding (or attempting to!) 30+ trucks through forest roads, up a narrow trail and through the ice and snow was a challenge! Again thanks to everyone for keeping cool, pitching in and making this trip a success.

While we didn't make it all the way to our attempted goal, we did manage to get 30 trucks dirty, get a bunch of kids in the snow, and clearcut a sizable portion of the MNF of it's Christmas trees!

There were some hang-ups, some lost members (thankfully recovered!) and some SUPER sketchy icy-on the cliff-holy crap I'm sliding-fuck I'm sideways moments, but we managed to get everyone up and back safely.

Special thanks to Nick and Lisa, my lost member recovery crew; To Rob1208, Elevated, Kalieaire, .45jhp and all the others who helped me prep that sketchy-as-F section of road so that Gply and everyone else could get down safely; to Tacomgee and stroM for helping bring up the rear and making sure we didn't leave anyone on the mountain; and to Kalieaire, .45jhp and your crew for filming and documenting the whole shebang! Sorry we lost you, and SO glad we found you :)

Fun times had, Some lessons learned, and I'm already wracking my brain on plans for next year, this is an awesome event, but we need to fine tune our approach. 30+ trucks up that road in the ice was kind of a nightmare.

Lastly, tons of pics to follow, be sure to post the pic of your tree all done and lit up! Cheers and Merry Christmas everyone!!

Yep. Aftermarket. Need to for 6" lift. But no biggie. New spindles aren't a huge deal.

Good thing we stopped here. Thanks everyonefor the help! It was extra difficult trying to concentrate with the kids in the back yelling "dad's going to kill us!". Over all we had a blast, my ass is a little sore from falling a few times tho. Big thanks to @ffdawson for putting this together it was nice to meet you and your family

Hell yeah man! Big thanks to you @ffdawson for setting this up and keeping us organized yesterday. I was telling some guys yesterday I wasn't there for a tree but I was there for the sh!t show and I was not dissapointed. Haha. Really though, had a damn good time meeting and wheeling with everyone. Even with 30+ rigs, it was relatively organized and we didn't have any big issues. Well except for that icy section. It was definitely sketchy. Glad I decided to pack my shovel. It definitely helped after we chopped up that ice and throwing the dirt down. By the time I came down after you, it was easy in 4lo + low gear on my open country AT2s.

Definitely good times had ... except the long drive home. @BayAreaRunner and I were struggling to stay awake even after some coffee and monster energy drinks. Didn't make it back to Fremont till midnight (would've been sooner but there was an accident blocking 2 lanes on 880 in Oakland).

Only suggestion I have is having a couple of "assigned" rigs in the middle and one at the end with HAM and CB who can help make sure we don't lose anyone and can kind of keep the train moving along.

Gonna work on editing my gopro videos and put something together as well! ;)

Thank you @ffdawson for putting together a fun trip for the families. It was a fun first trip for the little guy and my wife enjoyed it as well. Can't wait to put up the tree now. :)
