So you guys ended up going out through Potter Valley. That's actually a bit quicker than taking M1 back to Upper Lake. Although I do like having the Chevron in Upper Lake to air up, gas up etc before hitting the highway home.

That's so awesome! Cracking me up!

You scored a great looking tree! So glad you guys made it, and hope the little tykes had fun. I wish we had more time to tromp around in the snow. I should've listened to you when you said it was icy as F up on the top... But nooooooooo I just had to go look for myself! Lol.

Awesome run again Dawson! Especially with the huge group this year. I think next time around it needs to be said, don't park your truck at the bottom of ice mountain right on the edge.

That's a good looking tree Andy, Good pick Taco!

Also, I'll have to get a bell and light for Tobe and I'll let him run around with Taco next time.

Just read the entire thread, from start to this point right heres...

Well, don't I feel like a doofus. I saw part of the caravan around Rohnert Park on the 101 northbound. Then again on HWY20 clogging up the chevron station. Looks like I need to pay more attention to Tacomaworld again. I missed this run, and my buddy and I were up there for an xmas tree run ourselves. I stuck to lower elevations while hunting for the elusive perfect Douglas Fir.

I was the chump in the white PRO that passed by with a wave.

My little addition to all the Taco pRon being bandied about.

Usually we go to MET for that. It's a bit closer for east bay + sac folks. also it's mostly highway miles and easier on passengers that get seasick.
