    A little a this, a little a that...
Me and the family are in for wheeling and chopping. This is my favorite Christmas tradition! Glad we are doing Hull this year. Hopefully we are in for some snow wheeling. Just gonna do a day run and I'm voting for Saturday.

This is what a happy family looks like:

No it was Tallman Hotel, but blue lakes is just down the road! I haven't personally stayed there but driving buy it looks like a cool spot.

If we go I will try to make it a weekend, way too far just for a day trip. I'll try to convince the wife to camp though.

If it turns out to be Saturday, I'll have more than enough trouble getting the family into the truck early enough to hit the 08:00 meet-up in Santa Rosa.

Sign me up. Wife is as stoked about going as I am. My little guy is gonna have his first real Christmas tree before he's 1! :) I'm hoping for Saturday, not Sunday though.

That way maybe we camp over night and head home Sunday. Break up the trip, but we'll see how things go.

    Can't wait!

My girlfriend and I just moved to San Francisco we are in. I only have 32" km mud terrains. Will that be a problem?

I'll be there with my tiny KO2s. And my winch. And 4 TREDs. Necessary equipment that complements tiny KO2s nicely. :D

So it's looking like Saturday is the more popular day. I'll
Keep the poll up a few more days just to be sure.

For those of you planning to camp, it's going to be COLD! Even if there's no snow, it gets f-ing chilly up there. I've camped up there plenty when I was solo, but I'm not going to put the wife and kiddo through that. We may actually be considering the hotel/lodge idea... :) it'd be nice not to have to drive back home after the long day.

I think my lady and I are going to drive up the night before and hotel/lodge in that area with dogs. (3.5hr drive from SF).

Any recommendations on cool spots to sleep?

I'll plan on driving up Saturday morning and meet up in Santa Rosa with the rest of you guys. I like the hotel idea. I'd camp if I was solo, but you're right. Wouldn't want to put the little kiddo or my wife through the cold... Will be sleeping on the couch for a month if I do that! haha

So as far as recommendations on hotels? As long as it's not a roadway inn or motel 6... been there, wont do that again.. lol

Sounds like an awesome group picture idea. My wife's a photographer.. ;) Maybe I can convince her to take some shots.

Question. Any of you guys have radio setups? I was debating whether to wire mine up or not. Not sure if guys use them on group trips here.

    Thanks.
