Zero minutes and zero seconds. I rode MX up there today and swung by the ranger station. Usually they are pretty quick, 1.5-2 weeks or so?

Tbh I really don't know. Rules are rules and the forest service doesn't f around. If they decline your app hit me up, you can reapply and use my address.

It's official! Saturday is the day.

For those wishing to camp, remember you'll need a campfire permit. There's organized campgrounds at lake Pillsbury, and dispersed camping all over Hull Mt. @Mademan925 knows the spot we camped when we were up there riding Mountain bikes.

Ya it's true, the main road goes all the way up but near the top it gets pretty skinny. We'll just have to wait and see!

OP said to let him know as well, so I'll let one of you guys know if they decline my permit. Thanks for the offer! But even if I can't cut one down, no biggie. We can buy one elsewhere. Am still gonna go :)

I might go for the wheeling and fun but since I can't bring a tree home no tree for me. I don't want to break any laws for a tree or spread any pest. Plus the wife works on sat so she can't go so its not the same if she isn't there. We have gone to local farms and cut are own its a fun family outing.
I also looked up if we could do this in placer or Eldorado but no go.the only closer area is Tahoe national forest. The site says due to the large amounts of tree farms in the area.

I'm leaning toward not cutting one down as well. Still going to go, but best not chance it. Don't want to get into any trouble over a tree. haha

They did send me one but I can't remember if they had the same rule or not. I might go just to wheel.

Haha. We wont be able to beat a spacer lift install time. We have to adjust the coil overs. It will take more time.
