Just because you got into a few colisions doesn't mean you have a lemon.

Dang isn't that the way it is.. Went hunting with some buddies, and some old woman backed into me at the grocery store.. Tore the crap out of her little pontiac sunfire.. She left the scene.. Gave my Taco a little bumper scratch.. Then next day cracked windshield with a rock, the frost took half the way across.. But its not a truck unless you have a scratch, or dent that is something to talk about..

I'd say take this as a blessing. You've wanted a few things done on it and now it can take place. If you work something out with the shop taking care of your repairs.

Have them redo all your fenders, repaint the front bumper right. Color match other things on your truck. Then you'll get it back 10x better.

Thats simple fixes thats gonna be all covered. Its not major damage. :D

Yeahh, i think I was just bummed out about the whole thing.. I highly doubt that I'll get rid of it. And true, Now I wont care as much if it does get scratched or worse.....

Yeah, I got the headers put on the night before this happened. Solved everything (including the stripped bolt problem) Which of course gave me about an hours drive time to enjoy the new set up before the accident.

Hah, Ray I tried talking to the dealer. (where its getting repaired) they aren't willing to work with me on repainting the parts. However, I have a feeling there's gona be a few different shades of paint on the truck after I get it back. Which if that is the case, I'll call up the insurance company again and be like look... "It doesn't match.. Repaint it." :D

Pretty much what happened to me. Had the truck for just under 6 months and I was sideswiped and backed into.

However, my stock front bumper did end up paying me $2400 in repair costs. (They didn't want to settle through insurance so they just cut me a cheque both times for the repair costs).

Helped pay the bumper off, now I have an ARB bumper for half the price of a stock bumper. :p

My parents used to own a Camry that was the same way... hit left, right and center. It was probably in half a dozen accidents, none of them their fault, before they finally got rid of it.
