I would like to install a limited slip or locker in my 2008 2.7L 4x4 regular cab. I am not sure which rear end this truck has. I find Eaton offers a TrueTrac for a 8.0 inch 30 spline, and for a 8.4 inch 30 spline as well as a 8.0 in 29 spline.

I am not sure what the truck actually has or how to find out, I really do not want to order the wrong one. Does anybody out there know for sure how to verify which rear end it is? Any help would be appreciated.

I believe everything except trd off roads have the 8.4. The 8.0 is the e-locker rear.
