Sneaky devil, I am. :drevil: My setup is in dire need of something better than OEM. So went for the best. I have a strong hunch than I am having conflicting stresses between my poly mount for the T56 trans, and the super soft rubber mounts at the engine.

If my deduction is correct, these will alleviate the induced torsional stresses on the transmission, from the engine flexing on its mounts.

I am most curious about how the install will go, for now. Then how the engine and transmission feel. Especially once I start putting the serious torque back through it.

would it beneficial to do the motor mounts while the trans is out? idk how much that would help, but I'm just thinking ahead.

Technically this is true. As more is transfer to the rear than lost in motion.

Are you talking about tranny mounts? I think engine mounts would be the same between 2wd and 4wd.

Ah, I was confused. That's good. Mine look pretty rusty and was thinking about just swapping them out.

How do these affect inside cab feeling? I assume you can feel vibration and little bit of a tougher ride?

Maybe by tougher I meant harsher. Do these clean up the slop in my manual? Not shifter slop but the whole drive train feels like it moves alot while shifting. Good upgrade for the supercharger?

The factory engine and transmission mounts allow for a whole lot of movement. These will greatly reduce that excessive amount, while increasing the strength.

Shit I might have to put these in my build plan. I hate the movement in the stock drive train while shifting

The slop in your shift has nothing to do with the tranny mount I think. Typical 6 speed fail. Check out rock solid toys or the shirt throw shifters to fix that I don't want to thread jack. Pm me if you can't find it

No I'm not talking about the shifter itself. I HATE short throw on this truck. So retarded. I had a trd short shift and took that garbage off so fast it's rediculous.

I'm talking about the slop in the whole truck. You can feel the motor, tranny, and rear end moving around when changing gears. Makes it clunky and unsmooth. It's actually a big reason the short throw is terrible in this thing.

Short throws belong in sports cars, Where the disadvantages are nullified by the advantages.

I have a 3" shifter extension which plays nice with the short throw. Kinda makes the throws like they were with no extension but it also improved gear engagement. If my truck was long travel I'd be all over these solid mounts first an foremost for the engine but also the tranny... Alas, maybe one day when it's not my DD anymore
