    adding my solid motor mounts will take away alot of drivetrain movement and flex. which will greatly reduce the "slop" feel. The "slop" that exists int he transmission between the synchros and gears and shifter socket will not change, but over all without the motor and tranny moving all over it will feel greatly improved. More power to the rear wheels as well.

    Got my motor mounts installed and the truck they feel nice. Truck has a slight vibration but nothing unbearable. I'm sure it will break in and I won't even notice anymore.

    FYI, If anyone is looking to replace their rusty hardware like I did here are the OEM part numbers for the bolts.

    90119-A0355 - x8
    90119-A0031 - x4 (parts list had 8 but the shop only used 4)

    Would need a "doner" 4x4 trans mount. So far no one has been able to give one up for an extended period of time.

    Motor mounts I can build anytime.

    After a few days I stuffed radiator support bushing into the trans mount to firm things up a bit more.
